Certain facts can be ascertained by a science we understand, can familiarize ourselves with w/o being Rhodes scholars, and by learning rather than being "told" the "truth". Want to know something badly enough and usually we will!

You're 17 and your intentions are good. But you have been misled in a grand way. Help yourself by finding out how you were misled and then tell everybody at school about it.
