Last night I got home from an exhausting and exhilarating trip to New York City. During my stay, I barely got out of the hotel and I am still annoyed at all the wonderful presentations that I missed. Lucky for me, they will end up on the Internet shortly. I attended the 2008 International Conference on Climate Change. There was some totally cool and breaking science stories at this conference, and here are some of the impressions I had when I was talking to Gardner Goldsmith at Against the Grain on Monday and Tuesday.

It's almost humorous – all this global warming crap Al Gore and the rest are wanting people to fall for. It's a joke none of my friends believe in. Moreover, talking with someone I met on the plane today who travels alot of places and has family in Norway and Finland. He expressed that the natives of these countries and including northern Canada don't believe the nonsense about global warming either. It's beyond amazing to me that someone can gather a crowd around him with such foolishness!

I saw a couple of the scientist talking about global warming and am angered that as far as I know the Glenn Beck Show was the only source of news on the conference. It should have been covered by every news media station in the world to really inform us about what is going on in regard to climate change. We are being mislead as usual by our politicians and clap-trap we see on TV and hear on NPR.

global warming is real, but not on the level we are led to expect.
