Here, I thought that dems would continue calling for an increase to the gas tax. Why muddy the waters with alternative ideas for income streams. Add to that the green team wouldn't like it because I could drive the gas guzzeler of my choice and not be taxed anymore than someone in a prius. You just explained why. Its sorta like the cigarette tax. Tax smokers out of existence and then where are you going to get money for all the healthcare plans that were counting on that funding.
