Here's another. All credible estimates of the cost of cap and trade are in the range of 1-4% of GDP. All credible estimates of the difference it will make to global temps by 2100 are in the range of .01 - .05 degrees Centigrade (C). If you include China, India, Brazil, and all Annex I and II nations implementing Kyoto, meeting their targets, and extending the reductions in perpetuity, this range becomes .13 - .20 C. By 2100. For 1-4% of GDP. US GDP is $14 trillion (and going backward at 6% currently). Global GDP is about $50 trillion (ditto, at about 3+%). Fact check these figures. Then do basic cost/benefit analysis. Can anyone with a brain and conscience justify this expense for this benefit, when there is no scientific proof that "global warming" will cause a planetary crisis? (Sorry, computer model projections are glorified guesses. Very useful ones, but not something on which we should base all or nothing economic and environmental decisions and policies. Wake up, America. The preemptive corporate capitulators were simply trying to guarantee they would get free CO2 emissions allowances, rather than having to pay for them. And what are Waxman and Markey currently going around doing to get votes? Paying off House members with free allowance certificates.

I would challenge any AGW crisis mongers to seriously refute any of the facts in this article.

Here's another.

All credible estimates of the cost of cap and trade are in the range of 1-4% of GDP.
