Their reason for attacking human produced CO2, has recently been totally destroyed by a CEI report. It indicated that 20 years of scientific research to prove that CO2 is a potent agent in global warming, and the spending of over $30 billion by our Gov't in research grants, has utterly failed to show "a single piece of empirical evidence that man-made CO2 has a significant effect on global climate." I believe this is scientific overkill that should banish CO2 as an enemy to be constrained forever. Therefor, there is no need for further nonsense about, carbon footprints, carbon credits, and all that malarkey. If our Greens had any sense at all they could have saved the world a huge amount of money by opening a few books treating of the climate history of a younger Earth. It is high time to give CO2 a break. World agriculture will bless you for it.
