So far there has been no call for an investigation in Australia even though the new Opposition leader would be aware of "Climategate". The government, naturally is in denial as is our public broadcaster. So far not one mention although several guests on news items have tried to get the message out. It seems the main players are going to tough it out at least til Copenhagen comes to it's inevitable shuddering halt. On the upside; when you catch a kid with chocolate on his face and the cookie jar empty their first reaction is to deny any wrongdoing. I think it's called the denial phase. Next comes the remorse as they see lucrative grants drying up followed shortly thereafter by retribution when the guilty parties are cut adrift so the parent agency doesn't become too tainted. It will only reach a satisfactory conclusion if we keep up the pressure. One way is to convince all those scientists with contrary views to publish their findings. The problem is that grants only go to those who can "prove" AGW/CC.
