Discounting other research in favor of one analysis, it always a bad idea. The condition of dramatic planetary climate change has little to do with local earth conditions, and more to do with cycles within the progression of the solar system. Had there not been this current controversy tied to the concept of 'global warming', then it could be considered as valid. Most data shows that there is a marked increased in the global temperature prior to it climatic shift towards a marked decreased in global temperature. I believe the 100,000 year cycle of dramatic planetary climate changes allows for approximately 5,000 years of fast global warming before dipping back into a slow downward cooling trend for 95,000 years. So - yes - the Earth will go through an ever increasing global warming until the end of our 5,000 years of warmth, irregardless of any local changes including CO2 concentration. Ergo, there is no such thing as runaway 'global warming'. Al Gore and his army of environmentalists have taken credit for discovering 'global warming', a naturally occuring event. By convincing the world that pollution is the problem, they have touted their 'snake oil' cure (anti-pollution efforts) as a way to prevent it from taking over the planet. A 'Nobel' effort to be sure, but it can not work. Yet, you can be sure when the cooling trend starts that his faction of followers will take credit for stopping 'global warming'. Curiously enough the bible states the Earth, or their version of it, is about 5,000 years old. And actually, we are not far from reaching the end of our 5,000 years of warmth, so the real (non human induced version) of global warming is almost at its end. Some scientist believe the natrual cooling will begin in the next thousand years. Of course, this means, we still have about 1,000 years of an increasing warming trend to survive. And although anti-pollution efforts are good for the planet, they will not prevent the inevitability of increasing temperatures. Nothing we did caused global warming and nothing we do will prevent gobal warming. And these facts can not be disputed.

People are to blame for not properly researching all the data, and allowing themselves to be dupped into a one-sided perspective.
