How sad it is that Obama, who has openly spruiked the “Spanish Model” in his determination to go ‘green’, has failed to understand that the “Spanish Model” has been publicly acknowledged, by none other than the Spanish Prime Minister, as having caused untold damage to the Spanish economy and is simply not viable as a replacement for cheap and abundant traditional energy from fossil fuels to drive a modern economy.

In any case, why the need to regulate CO2? Well let’s just cast our minds back to 1988.

In Senate testimony during the summer of 1988, didn’t NASA scientist, James Hansen, testify that his GISS climate model’s predicted temperatures will accelerate to much higher levels if the world’s governments did nothing about reducing CO2 emissions? That kick-started the concern over man-made global warming. In reality, the actual temperatures in 2009 were about the same as in 1988… some twenty years later.

It therefore defies all logic for the EPA to be regulating CO2 emissions when commonsense dictates that the ‘problem’ predicted by James Hansen in 1988 has not happened. There reality is that there really is no problem.

So why can’t President Obama understand this? Is he just surrounded by too many idiot advisers? Or Is he just thick?
