It is forcing policy on people without any scientific reason to do so. Man caused global warming is a green nightmare without practical substance. We should be demanding empirical evidence that increased CO2 is hazardous to our health before activating expensive remedies. We are still in a glacial climate with ice in both polar regions and greenhouse gases are our only antidote to forestall the return of the next Pleistocent 100,000 year glaciation. A study of a climate graph of the Holocene should be enough to show that there is nothing abnormal about our modest warming of the past 150 years.
