They feel people are a blight on the planet. De-industrialize is code for wealth redistribution, neccessary because the developed countries have exploited the resources of the developing countries. It never occurs to the Progressive the lack of individual freedom, liberty, the rule of law and propety ownership in developing countries deters wealth creation. Only taking from those who have, and giving, by force, to those who do not have is acceptable reparation. People come last in the mind of the Progressives.
