The EPA seems oblivious to the fact that $30+ billion in research grants have failed to produce empirical evidence that a significant amount of global warming would result by curtailing the production of CO2. The climate history of the past million years has been ignored. We have had 5 major continental glaciations during this time, each of around 100,000 years duration. We have been in the 5th interglacial period (Holocene) beginning with the melting of the Wisconsin glacier 14,000 years ago that required 6,000 years to complete. Our average global temperature today is only 4 deg C above that at the time of the Wisconsin glacial maximum, 22,000 years ago. With lots of ice at both of Earth's polar regions, we remain in a glacial climate. Geologically, I can't think of a less likely time for an unstoppable warming to occur. I believe we need to warm up several degrees before the Pleistocene Ice Ages will end.

The EPA, aka our "Bull in the China Shop," is now ready to apply unneccessary restrictions on the greenhouse gases released by our electric power plants, particularly the coal fired ones.
