The EPA is an agency run amuck. It is filled with people who believe they are the saviors of the planet, and we need to do their bidding in order to prevent catasrophe. They are blind to any other opinion, whether it is factual or not. The truth means nothing to them, unless it is their intertest.

We get frustrated and look at them as though they are crazy or evil. I don't think either is actually the case, any more than their view of us is that we are crazy or evil. The truth of it is that we operate from different world views and presuppositions. To them, truth is truly relative, and only what is useful to them. To us, truth is a standard that is fixed.

This points to one of the strongest reasons for defeating the current regime in the next election and putting people into office who view the truth as a constant, knowable one and are open to hearing other opinions and either modifying their own position or answering the opinion reasonably.
