People don't think that the most common "pollutant" in the clean water act is dirt, and the very definition of wetlands is so vague and all-emcompassing that I could litterally have my homeowner's association arrested for raising the level of the drainage ditch (I dislike them but not that much). Now, we have the issue of a $40 million dollar fine being issued because a "violator" had the audacity to challenge their decision legally (legal challenges are not an excuse for non-compliance wiht an order). If the Sacketts lose the case, they will be issued a fine greater than what 99% of people will make in their entire lifetime for the horrific crime of following the official advice of someone who should be qualified to give it.The reason that the EPA took down their most-wanted list was because they were laughed down. The FBIs' list is filled with murderers and rapists. The CIA's is filled with terrorists and would-be genocidists. The EPA's included a man who imported a dozen Ferraris without upgrading the catalytic converters.

When people think of the Clean water act, they think about pipes spewing toxic chemicals into Creeks. One only has to listen to the heartbreaking accounts of ordinary, innocent American citizens who have been treated like criminals by this rogue agency to get a sense of a Goliath crushing David into the ground. Senator Rand Paul’s roundtable forum, “Property Wrongs: A Discussion with Victims of the U.S. Government’s Assault on Private Property,” held on October 12, 2011, gave folks who have been bullied by government agencies the chance to share their disheartening realities with the public.
