I view electric vehicles as a silly non solution to a non problem that exists in only the fervid but underdeveloped brains of radical environmentalists. As a major portion of our electric power is generated by coal fired plants, the so called pollution is largely transferred from tailpipe (ouspuffen in Germany) to smokestacks. Only solving the problem of covering the car roof with solar cells would eliminate this problem. However
educating environmentalists to the scientific fact that CO2 in our air today has a minimal role in warming the interglacial climate we are in today. However, reaching pea brains in wooden heads may be impossible.
