Higley said it all. The EPA is a loose cannon and must be defunded before it ruins our economy with restrictions on greenhouse gas overkill. Science has proven that carbon dioxide has no significant effect on climates. However, if the Greenies continue with their crazed attempts to seriously weaken Greenhouse gases, in this geologically significant time (interglacial epoch #5), our next natural cooling cycle, due within the next 1000 years, can bring on 100,000 year glaciation event #6 and the ruination of all civilization man has developed in the past 1000 years and a horrendous loss of human life in the poorer countries due to loss of agricultural lands resulting in mass starvation.

Carbon capture and storage is the dumbest idea in the world.

Not only does the technology not exist, but the whole activity is a complete waste of time, energy, and resources. Anybody with half a brain knows that you cannot keep storing more and more CO2 forever. There is simply no way to do it.

CO2 is PLANT FOOD! There is no down side to it. With our future cooling, we will need all that we can get to maintain our food supply in the face of shorter summers and slower growth.

It is amazing that, in the face of real science, that shows that CO2 cannot do what they say, they continue as if CO2 must be controlled.

Yes, I know it's the EPA and they are following, conveniently, the conclusions of the IPCC AR-4, but, hey, it's a crap report and has no validity. But then the EPA has no integrity.

So, the issue devolves down to politics. The EPA has a mission given to it by our Undocumented Leader-in-Chief: kill US energy, cripple and takeover the US economy. The EPA is now in control of the country and guess who controls the EPA?

If they can create enough turmoil such that everybody is focused on their own small, local problems, it would be hard to mount an organized offense against larger powers.

Can you say "totalitarian dictatorship"?
