Kyoto Cooling

On this symbolic date, it seems worthwhile to reflect that the planet has not only cooled since George W. Bush took office – pause and let the significance of that one sink in – but began to chill significantly at almost precisely the moment that we signed the Kyoto Protocol, exactly ten years ago today.

Lower Troposphere Global Temperature

It’s too bad President Bush didn’t really “unsign” or otherwise “withdraw [sic] from” it. We might have been able to avert this disturbing trend. But of course, you're very well read and already knew that.

How convenient for you GW hucksters that the sunspot activity peaked in the late 90’s and is now at an all-time low. Kyoto had nothing to do with any global cooling, especially since the biggest CO2 releasing countries did NOT sign on. The amount of CO2 reduced by Kyoto was negligible.

Why do you continue to ignore the 31,000 scientists who adamantly disagree with the theory of man-made global warming.

As the brilliant minds at places like Rolling Stone and MSNBC lament each passing day of the Bush presidency, I am reminded that genius is never understood in its time. According to them, Bush started an illegal war, turned the world against us, and failed to support the most important environmental pact ever. Funny.

Historians are quick to denote the new paradigm of conflict by proxy taken up by the US and USSR during the cold war. Yet, when, after a tragic attack on our soil, Bush took the fight against terrorists to a bombed out desert cesspool half a world away, he was mocked and ridiculed. This despite the fact that no further attacks have taken place on our soil. Genius or fool? We know what the prevailing opinion is, but history, rationally considering the alternative, will surely judge him differently.

The same is true of Kyoto. Bush has endured 8 years of lambasting for not supporting Kyoto, despite the fact that temperatures have dropped steadily from the day it was signed. Of course this is due in great part to those caught up in the Global Warming hysteria, fad, hype, doctrine, etc, can’t accept the reality of their own foolishness. History will have no such problems calling a spade a spade.

To be so right and so determined in the face of unprecedented bashing and criticism will pay long term dividends. Surely the folks behind the Holocaust, Salem Witch trials, and the dark ages felt the same sense of righteousness those who now preach the doctrine of Global Warming. History has shown their righteousness to be, at best folly, at worst tragic turns on the journey of human experience. Bush’s ability to live by his convictions, contrasted against media frenzy, personal attacks, and manipulations of science will solidify his greatness in the annals of history. How foolish we are for still forgetting that great and popular have nothing to do with each other.

I could not have said it any better. George W. is a hero.

I couldn’t agree more… Bush has liberated two nations that previously suffered under brutal tyranny that we could only imagine, tyranny that the left seems happy to ignore so long as the cowards in the UN send “sternly worded letters”, not to mention crushing Al Qaeda in Iraq and killing off just about every high profile leader they put forward. Obama is barely qualified to shine this mans shoes let alone lead the country. Bush truly is a hero.

  5. Great Article. Nicely written but I’m going to have to disagree with you this time.

  6. The two important lines of evidence oto kiralama oto kiralama of effectiveness include faculty involvement and cost-effectiveness.
Faculty members who have no kiral?k oto kiral?k oto interest or experience in the use of multimedia programming are now designing
their own learning objects using araba kiralama araba kiralama these tools. We believe this is due to the fact that the learning objects templates
are described and defined in terms minibüs kiralama minibüs kiralama of teaching and learning modalities. Their utility is more obvious to the instructor
because they are defined in araç kiralama araç kiralama terms that instructors understand, rather than in technical programming jargon. The cost
effectiveness of the tools is due to the fact that they are reprogrammable objects that are almost like templates. The cost
of creating a new object with one of kiral?k araba kiral?k araba these tools is less than 10% of the cost of creating the same object from first principles.
Online learning at some institutions is problematic because the expense of creating high quality interactive courses is exorbitant.
To reduce the cost, many online courses kiral?k araç kiral?k araç become simple text documents with graphics and discussion groups, but little
interactive learning or critical rent a car rent a car thinking. Reducing the cost of high quality interactive modules may be an important benefit.
We use them extensively in our distance learning courses at the Indiana University School of Continuing Studies.
