these pseudo scientists should return all the money they have extorted out of the governments of the world a retroactive tax of 90% on all the money they have stolen for services obviously not rendered would be appropriate they did that to the guys at AIG who were just doing their jobs . maybe the universities should return the Grant money they took obviously the research they did was destroyed to prevent the public from knowing the truth
I suspect the "real" Kevin Trenberth will be testifying before Congress again, quite soon. I'd like to believe it will be a cathartic moment, and that some good may come out of it – but I really don't expect it.
There's already been an AP article by David Stringer ("Scientist lashes out at hackers"), printed here in The Denver Post. It echoes the party line that I've seen from Mann, Jones, et all that these were just honest scientists arguing vigorously among themselves, and the unwashed are too stupid to understand. The Post is home ground for Trenberth; they quote him ad nauseam.
Obama has already announced his intent to go to Hopenhagen and offer some impossible CO2 reductions; that's the clue that denial is the party line. Anyone watching the unprecedented claims these guys have made for years understands they've dug in waaaaay too deep to quit now. That's the "real" Trenberth.
Unless Trenberth comes clean, I hope people with subpoena power hang him for fraud (hyping the "crisis" for additional funding) and violation of the Freedom of Information Act (he's got to be wondering if NCAR has copies of emails he wasn't able to delete).
This guy has a Ph.D. from MIT, and studied under one of the most respected meteorologists of the Century (Ed Lorenz). I don't think he's done much for the good reputation of our profession nor the memory of Prof Lorenz. I'm a retired meteorologist. Consider me unsympathetic. Guess I'm out of the jury pool.

It show that the earth has been having warming ( and cooling ) cycles every 100 – 110,000 years for the last 420,000 years. This also show cycles in the CO2 and methane that correspond with the temperature cycles.

Dear Bruce Wolfsberg …. after you have finished with Wikipedia … possibly you could examine some of the computer code which was released. If the AGW group were so confident of their "science" they (a) would release their data to other scientists for replication (b) would not have to be selecting and omitting data and (c) would not have to be attempting to control the peer review process
finally some truth comes about about this al gore hoax that he has been making millions off of, people give all of these numbers but the numbers dont go back far enough, the earth ahs been around for so long the time frame that we are taking stats out of is a extremely small fraction the the time that the earth has been around for. Its all somewhat of a hoax yes there is more CO2 level casue of humans that reasonable but to say its all humas and not the core temperature of the earth heating up isnt backed by enough data
